Oliva is a Portuguese brand specializing in the sale of premium olive oil and olive oil tasting experiences. It has been present on the market since 2012.

The redesigning of Oliva’s visual identity overlaps with the relocation of its store to the Bolhão Market — a major turning point for the brand. This step highlights the opportunity to update the visual identity and the communication media. 

In nature, there is a direct link between the olive tree and its leaves. The leaves are elementary to the tree and, in the context of this redesign, they serve as the geometric motif from which the logo and communication system are built. The approach consists of customizing the name "Oliva" with the elongated shape of the olive leaf through different construction metrics and visual rhythms.
